Chad Helder is a Bram Stoker Award-winning editor and author of three collections of poems and stories, including The Dead Mall Horror: A Novel in 49 Poems, Pop-Up Book of Death, and The Vampire Bridegroom.
With Vince Liaguno, Helder co-edited Unspeakable Horror: From the Shadows of the Closet, a queer horror anthology, which won the Bram Stoker Award for Superior Achievement in an Anthology.
Under the pen name Darkenbrook, Helder wrote Menacing Shadows: Horror Stories and Nightmares.
Helder wrote Bartholomew of the Scissors, a comic book made from 88 pine planks illustrated with pyrography and mixed media by Daniel Crosier.
Helder teaches writing in Fort Collins, Colorado, where he lives with a Bichon Frise named Biff.
